Creationism IS intellectually credible

The question has been raised: Is creationism credible? I can answer with a resounding YES over the Ozark Mountains, it IS credible! It's also historically accurate.  Only in recent years did society decide we're too smart to follow the historic relevance to the subject matter.

Creationism can be hard to grasp because public schools don't teach an alternative to evolution.  As a young man, I tried to combine my Christian faith with a theory of Evolution.  I considered God could have made the universe millions of years ago and things develop from there.  Many Christians still mix theologies that way.  But more and more resources are becoming available that show how a historical view is more accurate. It took me some time, but I have been sold on the idea that the earth and all that was created in it is about 6,000 years old, just like the Bible says.

It all comes down to what you believe and invest your faith in.  Do you believe a being created you and the universe within a week, or do you believe a goo that mutated from nothing accidentally stumbled on you and the universe over time?  If you follow the idea of evolution, remember, it's still just a theory.  Evolution has not yet been proven in order to become a scientific law.  

To me, evolution is like walking into a salvage yard with a stick of dynamite.  If I blow up a pile of old car parts, will I be able to create a new car out of the energy that is created and the objects that are affected?  How many times will I have to blow up those car parts before a brand new Cadillac is created, or a brand new Tesla?  Just like a new car, creation shows signs of intelligent design.  You were created to be a certain way and to have a certain purpose.  

I'll share one scientific thought that can help prove the earth is young.  The orbit of the moon continues to move away from the earth a little bit each year.  Not much, only 3 to 4 centimeters each year.  But if you times that by millions or billions of years in an old earth scenario, it can make a huge impact on life.  In fact, somewhere between 38 and 39 billion years ago the moon would have had a collision with the Earth.  If you go back 1 million years ago, the moon would be 6 miles closer to us.  Could you imagine the impact on the ocean tide or the magnetism in our world if the moon was that much closer?  It could be the difference between life and death.
