How The Noah Drake And The Dragon Series Started

In Early 2015...

In early 2015 my family and I were taking a much needed vacation at one of my favorite places. While there, one recurring theme I found being taught began to annoy me. There were rides that taught science and history, and they all assumed that there was a big bang and creation evolved on it's own. I know this is the common thought in today's society, but WHAT IF there was another way?

What if creation didn't evolve?

Did you know there are very good arguments against evolution? For example, the 2nd law of thermodynamics says everything decays over time. It doesn't improve when left alone, it falls apart! This LAW alone trumps the THEORY of evolution, which says things improve.

Stories that entertain and explain

CreationTales.com is my way of taking historical or factual accounts and using them to tell stories. It's my way of making stories that entertain and explain how things could have been made by a Creator.

Enter the dragon

One of my favorite subjects is the potential for dinosaurs and dragons to have lived at the same time as man. Modern science says "dinosaurs" became extinct because of some unknown disaster. But what if they weren't killed off by some ice age or meteor strike. Maybe the historical accounts of warriors slaying the dragons are based on realistic accounts. That could be possible, right?

Book Review - Kingdom's Hope

If you like Kingdom's Dawn, the first book from the kingdom of Arrethtrae, then you'll definitely enjoy Kingdom's Hope. Chuck Black's second book continues an excellent story that still mirrors Bible history. What I like so much about this series is the author's overall reminder of why we're all here, why we exist.

Book Review - The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer

My oldest son started a new curriculum this year and one of the books that he's supposed to read is The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer. Being the fun Dad that I am, I thought it would be cool for the whole family to enjoy this book together. I got the audiobook from Audible and we all listened to it in the car during a family trip.

Top 10 Christian books in 2018 for your family, child, teen or young adult

My family and I love reading books together. What makes it better is when the stories lean towards Christian values or have Biblical paralles. I love it when they even include scripture. That just knocks my socks off.

Below is a list of my current top 10 Christian fiction reads. These are books that my family and I have enjoyed recently, though two are still on the reading list to finish. All of these are fun for kids, teens and even young adults, plus they are grounded in Christian principles! I'll let you know if they contain scripture too.

Book Review - On The Edge Of The Dark Sea Of Darkness

You're going to love On The Edge Of The Dark Sea Of Darkness. It's a fun and imaginative story that I really enjoyed. The opening preface really draws you in with it's humor. It's very snarky and goofy and it gave me several good laughs. The preface is written differently from the rest of the book, but it's all still good!
