My family and I love reading books together. What makes it better is when the stories lean towards Christian values or have Biblical paralles. I love it when they even include scripture. That just knocks my socks off.
Below is a list of my current top 10 Christian fiction reads. These are books that my family and I have enjoyed recently, though two are still on the reading list to finish. All of these are fun for kids, teens and even young adults, plus they are grounded in Christian principles! I'll let you know if they contain scripture too.
You're going to love On The Edge Of The Dark Sea Of Darkness. It's a fun and imaginative story that I really enjoyed. The opening preface really draws you in with it's humor. It's very snarky and goofy and it gave me several good laughs. The preface is written differently from the rest of the book, but it's all still good!
I was recently blessed with a major course that teaches me a lot of things that I can do to increase my books' marketing and selling power on Amazon. It's focuses mostly on little tweaks that I can do to make sure that my book is attractive and that I'm promoting it to the right crowd.
I've been very successful selling paperbacks to family, friends and the surrounding community. When people hear about my books, it usually peaks their interest and they'd like to get a copy. And it sounds like people like the book when they get it. I have great reviews and lots of fans.
Rabbits with swords: I think thats the phrase that sold me on this book. I picked it up through a promotion several months ago and it's been on my to-read list ever since. Well, I finally got to read it!
If you're behind the times, like I am right now, then you likely haven't heard about the new movie "Genesis, Paradise Lost" coming to theaters in less than two weeks! I vaguely remember hearing about this project a couple years ago, but I'm not even sure this is the same movie I think I remember! Although, it has been in production for five years!
Kingdom's Dawn reminds us that we are here for a reason. It's a Bible Allegory, meaning that it retells the history of the Bible in a fictional way. You'll see loads of Bible parallels. Even the name of the kingdom, Arrethtrae, gives a glimpse into reality. Turn the word around and it reads Earth terra, the kingdom we were given by God!
Kingdom's Dawn is definitely a story for boys. That doesn't mean girls won't like it, but the action, fight scenes and mayhem is more what boys like to read.
